Aladdin The Musical at Prince Edward Theatre London

Get set for a memorable time with Aladdin at the magnificent Prince Edward Theatre! The highly anticipated Broadway blockbuster show has been transferred to the Price Edward Theatre in May 2016. The popular London is adapted from one of the most cherished and loved movies of Disney. Catch the adventures in Agrabah with heart touching musical numbers by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice.
The Tony Award-nominated musical revolves around Aladdin and his friends, Kassim, Omar and Babkak. Catch the heart touching romance between Aladdin and Princess Jasmine along with wild Arabian adventure featuring flying carpets, caves of treasure and a tap-dancing genie! Enjoy the mesmerizing songs from Menken’s original film score, such as ‘Arabian Nights’, ‘One Jump Ahead’, ‘Friend Like Me’, and of course ‘A Whole New World’.  The show features extravagant music and foot tapping dance numbers.
The two hours and thirty minutes show is recommended for kids aged 6+. The show is directed by Casey Nicholaw, renowned for directing The Book of Mormon. The title role of Aladdin is portrayed by Dean John-Wilson. He appeared on Britain's Got Talent and toured the UK with Sister Act and Songs for a New World. Jade Ewen as Princess Jasmine is simply adorable. She has worked recently in In the Heights as Vanessa. Charming role of Genie is portrayed by Trevor Dion Nicholas. He has portrayed the role on Broadway. On 27th May 2016, the popular London show, Aladdin made its debut.
The popular Prince Edward Theatre is running the houseful shows of Aladdin. The opulent London Westend theatre is positioned in the busy area of Soho, on Old Compton Street. The theatre is visited by both the locals and theatre lovers as some of the popular attractions are located at a nearby distance such as Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus and Covent Garden. The venue has host of shops, bars and restaurants near the theatre.

Leicester Square is the nearest tube station to the theatre and short walk away from the theatre. You can reach the theatre via bus route numbers 14, 19 and 38 all stop on Charing Cross Road.
